President, Cristo Rey Miami High School
Amelie Ferro is a Catholic wife and mother who currently serves as President of Cristo Rey Miami High School. She has over 30 years of successful experience identifying and strategically developing market opportunities, gaining access, and building relationships with key decision-makers, as well as negotiating agreements in highly competitive markets.
Amelie began her career at The Walt Disney Company, where she worked in several roles throughout the organization before 1998, when Mrs. Ferro was recruited as Sales Promotion Manager and a member of Yahoo’s launch team for Spanish language sites in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and the US Hispanic Market. Subsequently, Amelie joined Swiss publicly-traded company Publicitas to launch a US Hispanic market venture and assume the Americas' CEO position, where she was responsible for all activity in the US, Canada and Latin America.
In 2013, Ms. Ferro launched Ennovva and co-founded CimaCast, to provide media companies with digital advertising and infrastructure solutions.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Amelie earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her master’s degree in Organizational Leadership. She resides in Miami with her husband Manny her husband of 32 years and has three grown children. She is a parishioner of St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and a Vice President of the Council of Catholic Women, Vice President of Vocations of Serra Club of Miami, and of the spiritual family of the Servant of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary (SCTJM).
