The Everyday Apostle EP015 - Bryan Enriquez

Bryan Enriquez's journey is anything but ordinary. From a childhood spent moving across Puerto Rico and various U.S. states to becoming a cornerstone of the Halo app team, Bryan's story is defined by adaptability and faith. During his transformative years at the University of Notre Dame, he discovered the true power of community and spirituality. The supportive environment of Notre Dame, with its rich spiritual life and engaging diversity, challenged his perspectives and deepened his faith journey. Even his plans of pursuing law were reshaped by influential figures like Father Pete McCormick, who opened new pathways for Brian's spiritual and professional life.

The seeds for the Hallow app were sown in the shared experiences of post-graduation stress and a yearning for purpose. Bryan and his friends, spread across different cities, found solace in the unexpected spiritual connection they encountered through a mindfulness app. This catalyzed their vision to create a unique space merging mindfulness with Catholic prayer practices. With backgrounds in law, engineering, and computer science, they identified a gap in the market and seized the opportunity to innovate. The app became a testament to their commitment to integrating faith into every aspect of their lives, offering a sanctuary for those seeking peace and connection.

Everyday life in the fast-paced business world doesn't have to mean losing touch with spiritual practices, as Bryan demonstrates through his dedication to faith. Emphasizing the importance of daily Mass, prayer, and meditation, he shares insights on staying grounded amidst chaos. Whether it's the simplicity of a prayer in the car or the profound power of the daily rosary, these practices fortify his spiritual journey. Bryan's story is an inspiring reminder of how faith can guide both personal and professional endeavors, offering listeners a chance to reflect on their own spiritual practices and the impact of community and belief in their lives.
